GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ARTISTS
Once selected, nothing accompanying an entry will be returned. Your art is your donation.
Artwork must be original and completed within the past 2 years. “Original” means that the work must be from the hand of a single artist; pieces that originate from a workshop or a class under the direction of a teacher are not eligible. For works based on reference photographs, eligibility demands that the artist must have taken the photographs or have obtained written permission from the photographer.
Compositions based on published material or other artists’ work are NOT considered original and are not eligible for awards.
Be sure that our email addresses (martinisandmatisse@gmail.com or any address ending in clearwaterfreeclinic.org) are not blocked, or you may not receive critical information, receipts, confirmations etc.
No artist can win more than one prize.
The Martinis + Matisse Art Committee reserves the right to reject work that does not meet the outlined criteria.
If mailing your art, we suggest that you send your package using an option that provides you proof of delivery and a tracking number; we are not able to confirm individual deliveries.
Online entries are processed as soon as possible, as are credit card payments for guest reservations submitted online.
Once an entry has been submitted, no edits, replacements or exchanges will be accepted.
Check your spelling carefully including all login information, email addresses etc. Incorrect email addresses may result in the transmission of important information being delayed and/or unsuccessful.
Martinis + Matisse assumes all entries are original and are the works of the entrant, with all rights granted therein.
Martinis + Matisse and the Clearwater Free Clinic are not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant and will not become involved in copyright disputes.
Artists retain full copyright to their work. We may use the images in promotional materials, but we always give credit when reprinting.
